Illinois Crappie and Bass Fishing

Great fishing packages on Rend Lake, Lake of Egypt, Crab Orchard Lake and Kinkaid Lake. They guide for crappie and bass on all three lakes with tremendous success.

For crappie, they usually fish Rend Lake, as the lake has an abundant population of fish in the 10 to 12 inch mark and several up to 15 inches. Fisherman will have the opportunity to catch numerous fish.

Bass fishing is on Lake of Egypt, a power plant lake with a hot water input, it provides warm water and the fish to stay active year round. A great lake early in the spring, that produced several fish over the 10 lbs mark last year and one just under the state record of 13 pounds. This guide service caters to the fisherman’s needs 100%. They provide the boat, tackle, gas, and the knowledge to let our customers have a great fishing trip. We also clean and package your fish when we are done fishing. When we do this, tips are appreciated for this service.

For muskie, bass and crappie, they also offer fishing packages to Kinkaid Lake. It is located in the beautiful Shawnee National Forest and is a tremendous fishery known for its abundant 2 lb+ crappie and also great bass fishing. But perhaps your best opportunity to catch a fish of a lifetime is in its Muskie fishing. This waterway is a very deep lake with the best scenic views of any Lake in Southern Illinois.

Crab Orchard Lake is known for great crappie and bass fishing. Early spring patterns for both species on this lake can make for big fish and a lot of them. This lake produces many bass over the 7 lb range and many crappie over 2 lbs.

During a full day trip to Rend or Lake of Egypt they stop around lunch time to either eat at the restaurant on the lake or we will provide a lunch for the customers. These packages are great for the whole family, especially the ones that love to catch fish.

*All pricing is based on two fishermen per boat. A third fisherman will add another $75 for a full day and $50 for a half day.
